  • Anti-slip surface options available
  • Custom borders and inlay designs

  • Commercial-grade grout and adhesives
  • Flexible scheduling for business hours
  • ADA-compliant slip-resistance options

Tile Repairs & Regrouting

Cracked tiles, failing grout, and water-damaged sections don't always mean a full redo. We assess the damage, replace only what needs replacing, and match existing grout colors as closely as possible — saving you time and money.

  • Single-tile and section replacement
  • Grout removal and regrouting
  • Caulk replacement around tubs and showers
  • Waterproofing repair for leaking showers
Common Questions

What People Ask Before They Call

If your question isn't here, give us a call — we're happy to walk through your project with no pressure and no obligation.

Call us directly (717) 990-9479
Do you supply the tile, or do I need to purchase it myself?

Either works for us. Many homeowners prefer to select and purchase their own tile from a supplier, which gives you full control over the look and budget. We can also source materials on your behalf and include that in the project quote. If you're buying your own tile, we'll give you the exact square footage needed plus a recommended overage.

How long does a typical bathroom tile job take?

A standard bathroom floor and tub surround typically takes 2–4 days from start to finish — this includes surface prep, setting, and grout cure time. A full walk-in shower with a custom floor, niche, and bench may take 4–6 days. We'll give you a specific timeline with your written estimate.

Do I need to do anything to prepare before you arrive?

Generally, just clear the area of personal items and furniture. For bathroom projects, we ask that toilets and vanities be removed beforehand if possible — or we can coordinate that as part of the job. We handle all surface prep, including removal of existing tile if needed. We'll walk through the specifics at the estimate.

Can you match existing tile for a repair?

We can try, though an exact match depends on whether the tile is still in production. If you have leftover tiles from the original installation, that's always the best option. Otherwise, we can help source the closest available match and advise on whether a repair or a targeted replacement section makes more visual sense.

What type of tile works best for a shower floor?

Smaller tiles — typically 2×2 or 4×4 mosaics — are recommended for shower floors because the higher grout-line count provides better traction and conforms more naturally to the slope. Porcelain is the most practical choice for wet areas: it's non-porous, dense, and highly durable. We'll discuss options and help you decide what fits your style and maintenance preferences.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — Tailored Tile LLC is fully licensed and insured for all residential and light commercial tile work in our service area. We're happy to provide proof of insurance on request, and all work comes with a written estimate before we start.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, always. We'll come out, take a look at the space, and give you a clear written estimate at no charge. There's no pressure and no obligation — we want you to feel comfortable about the scope and cost before anything begins.
